As there are no monsters alive or fit to move, here we go with Round 3.

The intrepid party, after successfully jumping a couple of orcs, find themselves heading deeper into the dark catacombs. What will they find? Probably a gargoyle, since that's what they've been told to kill.

Beardy McWizardface squeezes two steps north past the Barbarian, whom he has nicknamed Beefshield, and opens the door.

Edit: "Oh my, I've stepped on a Dwarf. They don't like being stepped on..."

Cancel my movement, until the Dwarf sees what's in the other room.

You open the door and... oh my... those aren't orcs...

Your handy dandy monster manual tells you that you've encountered a wee tiny little Goblin and a big nasty Fimir next to a weapon rack. You're not sure what they were doing, but they're now grabbing big clubs off of the rack, and tapping them against their palms menacingly and rhythmically.

You stab stab stab away but the goblin squeals and manages to dodge your stabbity dagger. You fondly remember those wonderful memories of having a bigger weapon.

The beast is indeed mighty, but you manage to take a solid swipe across its belly, doing one wound. It bellows, teeters, but then resumes the attack.

Nothing at all in the dark shadows. It's just you, your pals, a squeaky goblin and a really ticked off fimir.

You swing a powerful strike at his knees, but this bastard's got a tough hide, and tougher armour. He seems unfazed.

MrWilli:
I figure New Years was keeping everyone pretty busy (myself included), but... friendly reminder post time. You've got a day to take your turn before it's skipped and the next round begins.

Crap. North One, East Two, and South One. Impale monster on dingy short sword.

OOC: I might allow someone to take over for me next scenario at this rate. I'm keeping everyoen back.
OOC: If I have time I could alternate with you and post for your character when you're unavailable. I would just need to read the rules I guess and start playing right?

The vicious fimir just barely manages to block the attack. Should have brought a bigger sword perhaps...

Monster turn going up in a few, and then the new round begins.

As for the holding things back thing, don't worry too much about it. I specifically wanted to make sure that people wouldn't feel very rushed or obligated to post as often as possible to keep things easy to commit to. I definitely don't mind if the game goes a little slower to keep things more fun and light hearted. So long as we move along about every three days or so, I think we'll go quick enough to keep things entertaining.

That being said, if you do want to bow out after this scenario, I definitely understand and I can find a replacement.
Monster Turn

The monsters decide to take a stab at, well, stabbing you guys.

RealWeaponX:
The cowardly goblin swings at you, but thankfully your sturdy boots hold up against the blow.

stoicsentry:
The fimir, meanwhile, turns to his new nemesis (i.e. you) and attempts to cleave you twainwise. Luckily you block the attack, but it sure was a heavy swing.

Rodzaju, you are in the same square as the elf in case you were wondering.
