ElPixelIlustre: Seriously, in Spain you can buy HoMM and HoMM2 (plus expansions) on any GAME for 3€ each. I don't see the point in GOG's prices...

Not everybody lives in Spain, at least last time I checked. By the way, is GAME what used to be Centro Mail?

I have to agree, 9.99 for Heroes 1 is kinda much.I have it from Heroes of Might and Magic Complete Collection. It's a bit hard, the graphics look a bit too old and it lacks the complexity of 3 and beyond.

Gexecuter: I hope they are able to change the price to 5.99$, 10 dollars seems a little too much.

klaymen: I think it is clear - Ubisoft wants to squeeze every single possible cent from the HoMM franchise.

What the hell?
People...people...the price is not set yet as far as I can see. Don't jump to conclusions. If it was 9.99 would they not probably have put it as the price on the gamepage, just like for the rest of the Ubi games? Or have I missed some important piece of information?
Well, we will just have to wait and see now. But I think it is rather probable that the price will in fact be 5.99 $, at least I hope so.

I know not everybody lives in Spain, but I think such prices differences are pretty weird. And yes, GAME is what used to be Centro Mail.
The game's price is dictated by Ubisoft by the way, GOG is trying to get the price down to 5.99. Hopefully they succeed in convicing Ubisoft.
Yeah, at $9.99 it's pretty much a no-buy for me. At $5.99 I think I'm curious enough to try it, even though I played HOMM 2 to death.
Hell, I'd pay $5.99 for HoMM1+2+Expansions, and even then I'd only want HoMM1 out of historical interest. I wouldn't actually play it. $9.99 for just HoMM1? You've gotta be joking!

I was just fucking with you, but the thing is, when I've gone home over breaks I see games at Hipercor or such for 10-15 euros, when they are 40 dollars here at the stores.
