Hi there!
There's an old game I loved to play years ago but can't remember the title or find any trace of its existence on the internet. I'll try and describe:
You played the role of a barbarian who had to rid the land of evil. The barbarian's name was the actual title of the game, something like 'Connach - The Barbarian'. (Or Conarc, Connarch, Konnarch, or something!) It was a kind of isometric, 3D strategy, rpg, mix of a game. You could command small units of troops that fell into the usual ranged or melee variety. Game mechanics included the usual field of vision, so range troops could have their targets blocked by hills on the battlefield. Magic and potions played a part. The camera was zoom-able, I think, from right up close to your barbarian avatar to far away for a more strategic view of the battlefield. I think the maps loaded continuously from wilderness to dungeons. It was quite a dark game.
If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would love to see more information on this gem of a game.
