Shadowstalker16: They did Origins, but other than that, most of the games they give way have some strings attached; more so than when GOG does so. When GOG gives away a game, they do it out of the goodness of their hearts or to encourage new people that this is a batter platform than Steam. Origin does it either to make us buy DLC or gives away games no one there would want.
February 14, 2014. Dungeon Keeper was given for free on GOG. It's an EA game, so EA was the one that had to give the OK to GOG. GOG wasn't the one to make it happen, though they may have suggested it.
Your comment about GOG games being given out of the goodness of their hearts is true for the games owned by GOG, or more specifically, CD Projekt Red, aka The Witcher franchise. All other freebies given by GOG were done with the publishers' consent, which means Rebellion, EA, Triumph Studios etc
So yes, on February 14, 2014, EA did give us a full game with no strings attached.
