Someone in the wishlist comments said the game is also known as Boarder Zone which was the name it was supposedly sold under in the US?

WOW, you guys have got to watch this guy i found on YouTube, and some of the really amazing stuff starts at about the halfway mark ending with him spinning in a tree.

Knew this thread was about Supreme Snowboarding even before I enter.
Man, that game is on my wishlist since it's release. Hope this one will be available here, eventually.

I haven't looked into it yet, but usually when games this old never appear on sites like GOG you can bet it is because the game is too widely available as a free download.

But you know what, i don't think that is all that good a reason to exclude a game on GOG because frankly, looking for a free download of a game is usually more trouble than it is worth, even when copyright is not an issue. And even if copyright is not an issue today, at some time in the past it would have been, and all those nasty 'cracked' games are not just going to simply 'disappear', they will still be hanging around on the net. And even if it works, who knows what bonus content or features are missing or not working properly?

I think it is fair to say most people would rather pay a couple of dollars to get a safe and up to date version of a game from GOG than go looking for a free download.

Is this the same as Boarder Zone? I still have the disc of that one :) Maybe I'll actually try installing it again at some point

Given the release date of the game, that is understandable. However, I have been around computers for quite a long time now, 20+ years. One thing i noticed (i could be wrong?) about the windows 95 to 98 generations of computers.... they seemed to be able to punch well above their weight in terms of how well they actually run games that are beyond their capability. Nowdays if you try to run a game on a computer that is beyond it's capability, it won't even try, simply crash.

during that 95 to 98 generation of computers i had one particular graphics card that just refused to quit despite getting older and older.... Intel 740 - what a little champion!

The point is, releasing a game needing a monster computer back then just doesn't mean the same thing that it means these days, back then our computers were readily able to put in quite a good effort on those type of games.
