Hi I went on xbox 360 live the other day just to download some games. Today my wife wants to play zumba rush. But she cannot save. It says cannot save due to not connected to xbox live. We have never had the problem before. She just wants to play zumba and save and not use xbox live.

I know connecting my cable to xbox will fix this problem. But lets say I dont want xbox live no more. How do I get this stupid message to go away and save.

Everytime I try to sign in. It says xbox live no connection so I wont be able to save any games. But I dont want xbox live. I just want to play games and save. Well really my wife does. Help or she will beat me up.

try to test if the xbox can even connect to internet, exaple from setup menu or web browser.

I unplugged the internet cable to the xbox 360. I dont want to use xbox live any more. I dont want to run the cable to the xbox 360. The thing is every time I sign into any game it says there it says your console cannot connect to xbox live. I diont even want this message to apear.

what have you already tried OP? did you do anything with the 360 before that?

OP, maybe you activated cloud saving in the game? If you did, the game will try to upload the save game to the internet instead of saving it to your local hard drive. See if you can change the settings.

If you downloaded/purchased the game with one account, then I believe a second account has to be signed into Live to play it. You do not need a Gold account iirc, just the free Silver account. There are two licenses at play here, the first is the Individual License for the person who bought it and the second is the Console License for the first console it was downloaded on. Anyone can use the Console License, but they have to be signed in.

There is no way, to the best of my knowledge, to get rid of the Not Connected message. Either accept having the cable plugged in and logging into XBL (again, you don't need to have a Gold account) or accept having the message pop up.

Dunno what Zumba is tbh, is it possible that you have signed in with a different gamertag?

Is it a DLC game?

Is it possible that you are trying to play a DLC game with the wrong gamertag not associated with the DLC account?

Is it possible that you changed your save location from the HD to a memory card?

Can you save other games with no problem?

I do remember a problem I had with TDU and DLC, I could not play without signing in. I had changed to a new 360 and the DLC was assigned to the code of my previous 360, so I had to use a "Migration Licence" to assign the DLC to my new 360.

Wierd I can save regular games but not kinnet games.
