Recently, taken in by the GoG bonanza of classy old games, i tried to put down a list of all the games I really wanted to see again on my PC, in order to pray the gods of chaos for them to return, in the form of the GoG Wishlist :)
In this recalling fury i came to think of a game that intrigued me a lot a good 12-15 years ago, but of which i can't remember the title nor any relevant part of the plot.
Hence i decided to call forth the help of my fellow GoGers to try to figure out which game this is :)
Here is what i remember: it was definitely an RPG-Adventure (not turn-based i think), based upon norse mythology, with isometric view. I think i remember a scene in which you had to succesfully breed a plant in order to pass some sort of test, and another scene in which you had to get bitten by a snake to retrieve some treasure. Last thing i remember is that the game world was divided in a lot of "islands" of sorts.
Please help me out and maybe we can add another good game to the wishlist!

I actually thought about putting it in question mode...but it wasn't really a problem, more like a curiosity :)
Granted, a curiosity that has driven me mad in the last few days: I was dangerously close to start banging my head against the wall to remember the name of that goddamned game :-D
