Hello epic gamers of all times and nations,

I am looking for a game I used to play as a child and can't remember the name. Here are the details I do recall:

1. The hero was a blond dude with dark sunglasses and a cool jacket (not Duke nukem).
2. The game had mini riddles and puzzles in it.
3. The hero had powers he could find and master like Levitation or Fireball and they would be represented as cards.
4. Thick plot, some of it happened in the streets and had an atmosphere of neon lights/quasi-futuristic.
5. A combination of quests+fighting and solving puzzles.
6. At some point of the game I think you stumbled upon magicians and a magic show.

another thing - i think the element of psychic powers was part of the game and the story of the hero.

Also my first thought.

Interestingly enough I didn't immediately think of Sanity. (And I never would have put the sunglasses or hair color together with the game.) It was the psychic powers and even more so the "cards" that made me think of it.

It doesn't hurt that I was looking at the box in a closet in my parent's house a few weeks ago when I was looking for old cd game collections when trying to solve my own "help me find this game" thread.
