Wow, this is an obscure game, very little information about it on the web and I'm kind of curious if it's good as comparisons with Crusader aroused my interest.

Yeah, it looks like an interesting game.

I found it by going through the list of isometric action sci-fi games for Windows on Mobygames (+rep SpellSword for getting most of the way to finding the game), the description sounded like it could match so I did a search for screenshots and they matched DanQew's description of the game.
