I remember playing the demo around 2000-01.
Crusader no remorse style top down view.
The demo was about escaping a building(? no windows, could have been a buried base) via elevators.
The main character drives a one man sized hover craft with two miniguns attached(think the top part of Robocop's rival who can't walk down stairs).
Very sleak nicely made game (cyber punk vibe like ...the original Syndicate) with the hovercraft aims where it goes, by pointing the mouse (<amazing responsive feel gameplay wise) in any of the desired directions.
The player has to go through the barricades and misc armed black uniform guards, on their path to get to the next elevator.
plz hep me, i have been looking for an answer for 14 years.

I'll have to go through all that, it will take some time. no, those are too old.
the graphics in the game i'm looking for are from at least one gen up.
Bedlam was the first I thought of as well, maybe it is Future Cop LAPD.
I don't know many bedlam-like.

Strijkbout: maybe it is Future Cop LAPD.
I was also thinking Future Cop LAPD.

Can you remember anything else about the game?
- What OS were you running at the time?
- Did the screen scroll to follow you are was it a non-scrolling fixed screen/room style game?
- Any notable dialog or other text?
- Did the game use 3D rendering or 2D?
- Do you remember the color of the main character's hover craft?
- Were there power-ups that could be collected?
- Was there a visible score being displayed anywhere on the screen?
- Did the hover craft's minigun's bullets visibly travel across the screen or was only their point of impact rendered. (Like the instant hitting bullet weapons in DOOM.)

Even the smallest detail may lead to the title's rediscovery.

By Crusader no remorse style I'm assuming it is viewed in isometric style so perhaps it can be found amongst these titles:

- XP i believe
- think starcraft. isometric top down.they were small rooms though so no...'black cloud'.
- nope
- quite the same level of graphics as starcraft actually
- everything is pretty much different shades of black in my memories: block hover craft, black walls and ground (with textures like the bases in starcraft) black guards uniforms....yellow barricades?yeah yellowish some things like the lifts doors too
- nope
- nope
- only their point of impact rendered, INDEED!...like starcraft.... i think the guards fell to their knees first before hitting the ground, dead, but i m not sure. was i playing a demo of a starcraft ripoff??? ^^

You may not have helped the OP but this one turned out to be an EA game missing from MY list:

And has now been added, so thanks for that!
