After many years of accidentally derailing threads for pages, I decided that a thread such as this might make sense.

We all know how it goes: we've been away for awhile, we start to say hello to everyone we've missed, and the next thing we know is that we are all engaging in an impromptu rave and derailing a thread!

This is fine, and good for us, but not for those who have to sift through all of the excess that is off topic, when all they want or need is the content that is supposed to be pertinent to the thread.

No rules here, other than those of our host, and the constraints of common decency which we all deserve.

Now, hello to one and all!

To those I know, great to see you, and to those that I don't, nice to meet you :-)

but derailling is half the fun
there is no thread on here that has not been sooner or later derailled

cept when me and crew get involved then its less derailment and more running up the wrong track in reverse

I would hazard a guess that those without them are on fabric chairs, while those with them can brave the leather chairs...

People, like myself, are lazy and laying on their side, so we can go either way :-)
