On a more serious note - my friend just got tired and needed to go home and get some rest.

Unfortunately, it's pretty serious, life-threatening if the available treatments fail. And no, it's not cancer.

Shit. Has the treatment at least good chances of working?

Can you take a look at this and tell me if it is a rash I should go to the doctor with??

It's a case by case situation, and in my friend's case too soon for any prognosis, as we're still waiting for the green light to begin with the first suitable treatment.
