zomgieee: Buy a Ubisoft game ? No. Not now. Not ever.

I remember your DRM, Ubisoft. It may be removed, but the insult remains.
I'm guessing you're either divorced or will be.

StingingVelvet: Being overseas for a year really showed me how stupid pre-order bonuses are. I literally can't play these games until I get home, so I am punished by developers with less content.
Indeed, but some developers are less obnoxious about it than others, Steam has all the add ons for FO:NV available as addons. CDPR made all that day 1 DLC available to everybody after a period.
Yup, definitely pre-ordered. Too bad the collector editions pre-order were quickly gone so I had to settle for the regular one. But then I realized it's probably for the best and from the price difference between regular and the freedom edition, I just pre-ordered Hitman Absolution.

Wife really isn't into AC actually.. She is more of a Bejeweled / Animal Crossing type.
Nope, I'll wait for the final release with all the DLC included :) At least with Ubisoft I can count on them doing that :) I'll miss the PS3 exclusives missions though. Oh well ...

Besides, I just started playing Revelations :)

No, I haven't

I'm pretty sure that the game is going to be great just like the previous installments but Ubisoft has already announced a "Season Pass" for this game, which means it will be DLC galore

I'll just pick up the "Complete" edition a year later, thanks
i cant wait.i will use a korea vpn to unlock this night.Good luck
I'll wait when it's on sale, patched and all dlc included.

I still haven't finished with AC2, and AC Brotherhood is waiting in the corner.

We should wish you good luck if you take such actions to get the game earlier. :)
now that people mention it...

Why aren't the previous AC games here on GOG?

I'm still waiting for AC2, Brotherhood and Revelations to come out here

Will probably do the same as I was a huge (if not the biggest) fan of the series until Blood Money.

Either the sales of AC 1 and Heroes V on GOG didn't satisfy them or they want to milk the cow dry before giving it to those DRM-freeks over at GOG.

Oh yeah, answering OP's question: I did NOT pre-order AC3 as Ubisoft lost me when turning the series into a fanboy exploitation machine. And frankly, as a gamer I got bored somewhere in the middle of AC2.

Because DRM is still strong for that two titles. You have to play it via Uplay.
Personally I don't really care much about the DLC. I haven't played any of it unless it was some sort of pre-order bonus. I never felt like I missed anything with just having the base game.

Usually I'm all for waiting for GOTY editions, but for AC I never felt the need.

I was making fun of your inability to leave grievances in the past, dude.
I still have to play "Revelations"... the last one I played was "Brotherhood" early this year! :P
