Sorry to hear you're having a hard time - my mortgage keeps me awake at night too.

Here's my favourite joke, I overuse it but it kills me every time. I've yet to find anybody else that thinks it's funny.

A man takes his gold fish to the vet and says 'I think my goldfish is epileptic'

The vet looks at it and says 'it looks fine to me'

The man says 'Hang on, I haven't taken it out of the bowl yet'

XD?

I'll get my coat...
This always makes me laugh, it might do good for you

That sucks man,

But if it comforts you're not the only one with this, I have an appointment with the judge for something like this. It's like the whole world has gone crazy, no one seems to care about anyone anymore over here. Well, it is what they say, if you want justice, go to the whores, if you want to be screwed, go to the judge.

And I don't want to prey on people, especially if you are in dire straits like you, so have game for yourself or give it to someone else, I would really be too embarresed to accept it.
Sorry about your situation, man. Perhaps an original (and very, very bad) grim joke will help:

Why did the chicken commit suicide?

To get to the other side!
I'm typing this naked!

As one Pratchett fan to another, your very welcome. Also you can find the animated version of Soul Music and the live action versions of Going Postal and the Hogfather on Youtube as well, if you want I can post the links to those as well.

It would also be nice if they got the three PC games on GOG.
If I remember correctly they weren't great, but it's still Pratchett before the Alzheimer and deserve to be preserved.

No worries - I'll do a Tube search - although if anyone else is interested the links could be useful :)

I'd buy all 3 the minute they arrived here. And yep, the Alzheimers is really really sad, although apparently he's still plugging away at a new book!

Big Terry Pratchett fan here, I've read every one of his books except for Carpet People, Dark Side Of The Sun, and Strata, which I can't find anywhere. The Hogfather movie was surprisingly good, if quite long since it was originally broadcast in 2 parts. Didn't like the more recent movie of Color of Magic though, is the Going Postal one any good? Didn't even know there was an animated version of Soul Music.

The Alzheimer's is indeed really sad, though. :(

The book or the movie?
I quite enjoyed the book and according to IMDB the movie is pretty decent as well (7.7).
I've read pretty much all the DW books as well, even the Science Of ones.. most of them several times actually.
I guess I'm a pretty big fan myself :P
