Sachys: exactly my point - better filtering and a new topic combined cover that.
Although, I have to say, scammers and trolls will be likely to show up regardless of filtering options, so..yeah.

So, it sounds like the community want me to go back to Judas and say, keep it locked? Not sure that's my "right", but I could ask.

I say open up v2.1 and bring it out of beta with a few ground rules - the forum has nowhere for general chat and tomfoolery anymore.

Even with rules the trolling will start again. We had set rules in the old thread like 1000 times and no one followed it. Things are going much more better the last week. No more trolling, meaningless derep and everyone now is able to open his/her own GA thread where everyone has the opportunity to win a title instead of same random non-members getting keys...

I do agree that there's no general place to mingle for mindless chatter. The insomnia thread is dead, ninja thread is closed, I'm just wandering aimlessly at this point...

a new one has alot of potential to get just the exact same problems.

call a new topic just pub, general chat or something just no keys, nothing ninja related.

I do that all the time in the other threads. Of course that tends to lead to the abundant amount of death threats I get but it's not like any of these people can find me IRL.

I helped contribute to the final downfall of the thread and didn't mean to.

I too don't know where to go just to talk to other like minded people.

Although I have noticed my rep is getting a lot better
