Is he really? I mean, I've heard a LOT worse than this, and he did ok, but I wouldn't say he's a talented singer. He's a talented speaker, very articulate and with a good, well mastered voice. But yeah, singing is not one of his strong points.
I loved the song, mind. :) Fortunately, it doesn't hit too close to home, since I never pre-order anything. ^^

During several podcasts he has reminisced about his university days when he sang in a band. And he always claimed that he was very good. I agree completely that he is a very talented speaker, and I admit to watch most of his content that is related to gaming news.
