MonstaMunch: I don't know if Feb 29th is actually celebrated anywhere, but it's four times more rare than Christmas or a birthday, so happy 29th of February everyone :)
Strangely enough, until year 2000, Feb 24 was the "leap day" in Sweden. And as far as birthdays go, Feb 29 is a perfectly valid birthday (albeit one that can only be properly celebrated every 4th year).

bsu: If I redeem this, do I need to give out a giveaway too, because I'm broke right now?
avatar
MonstaMunch: Nope, gifting is entirely voluntary, not even suggested :)

Next up (and probably last one for today) we have one of my favorite games of all time, Rayman Forever: VV6W-8PC7-4XYT-TJMB

This is fun, isn't it? :P
The thing I love about a leap year is you get an extra day in the year for free! an extra 24 hours! Would have been greater if it were a holiday but what they hell! its 24 hours extra!

I also love it when they do the daylight savings thing and you get an extra hour when they move the time ahead a couple of hours; always feel sad when it returns a couple horus back though :(

Oh and thanks for rayman. I managed to redeem it ^^ Let's see if I will like it as much as you.

Just remember; this is one game where cheating isn't really cheating. The 99 lives cheat won't make it easy to complete or detract from your enjoyment of the game, it will merely make it possible to complete it given enough persistence, so use it ;)
There is such thing as Happy Leap Year? :-O

There is now, but you missed it so you're gonna have to wait another four years. Sorry bro. :P

Very interesting. That is the first time I hear about a leap day that is different from February 29. But than how did you "leap" actually? I mean, 25th still comes after 24th every year, so how does that help?
MonstaMunch
Thanks for Rayman I have been wanting to try it also and I am quite sure abolat will enjoy it.
Does anyone know whether The Hacker Evolution Steam - code : 8RTZ8-5NQIY-DIY6Q was redeemed? I am lazy to start Steam and spend 15 minutes waiting for it just to check.

MonstaMunch: No, the really sad part is how they decided if you were too educated to live: Wearing glasses was punishable by death.

FraterPerdurabo: I think I recall reading something similar in Russia during the early revolutionary days. University students were recognised because they wore a distinctive hat and were accordingly executed. When they stopped wearing them, the executioners would examine their hair and heads for the inline caused by having worn that particular hat.
I do not think I heard of this, even though I suppose it was entirely possible at that time. What I DO know, though, was that after 1917 everyone who studied e.g. in the Naval Academy at St. Petersburg came in barely knowing how to read, write, sum, subtract, multiply and divide. And before 1917 this Academy prepared highest-ranking Naval officers.

Oh, ok - thanks. :)
Here is Critical Mass than GQCRG-7BYQ9-T87ZX
The game is simple by nature, but I actually enjoyed it.

Please, write if you redeem this. Also everyone (including those who redeem the code) is welcome to gift whatever they want/can.

I'd guess 24-28 leaps forward one day to become 25-29. Then they realised the idiocy and made the leap day come after the common days rather than shoved in the middle.

Yeah... well my point was that IF you say 24th is your leap day (+1 day for leap year) you would still end the February with 29? Does that not automatically make 29 February the leap day instead of 24th? Or would you have 24 of February two times in a row? (as in 24-1 Feb, than 24-2 Feb).

You are welcome! Good luck with your job hunting.

Yeah, neither did I! I'd recommend signing up for their word of the day e-mails, this year you would have been able to learn 366 new words!
