i always got computers as presents (though the pc was also partially my dads)
i do remember one xmas playing lands of lore and it was raining really hard and they said it wouldnt snow (it barely snows here (around xmas), now its 10c here) and then suddenly it turned to snow and it snowed for several hours.

Dischord: Seems like a nice memory, check PM!
wow, thank you very much . :) and merry christmas to you too.
sure is a nice memory, espeically if you like snow and it barely does snow.
my best gift was my PSX.and I want Uru:complete chronicles
Wonderful looking children you have. I can only imagine the headache you'll have in 10 or so years. :D

Best holiday gift I've ever received? Wow, it's really hard to pick just one thing. I'll go for the earliest present I can think of and that's a Color Computer when I was 3. That was more for everyone, but they let me open the package. I remember thinking something like "wow a gray box with letters on it!"

I think I was pretty easy to please when I was a kid. We watched some old home movies several years ago and one year when asked what a particular gift I had received was, I responded, "I don't know, but it's just what I wanted!" lol :D

As for a game to pick, either Dungeon Keeper 1 or 2. I don't know which is better of the two because I've never played either. So if I'm chosen, just pick based on your knowledge or at random.
The one on the left does not look happy! Tickle time!

Best gift I ever got for Christmas? Probably the Lego Port Authority. I mean... WTF? Haha.
Just popping in to likewise wish a happy holidays to you and your triplets! (No game needed)

Snow is nice, but mostly to people who don't see it much.

I never minded it, is silent as it falls, pretty in structure, and coats all around it in a clean way.

Thanks for the Christmas wishes, and wish you and your family/friends the same!
Oops, best to OP for a great holiday too, and sorry about momentary lack of manners!

My best chirstmas memory was actually a year ago. I finally got a Gaming PC after only ever owning a factory PC with intergrated graphics card and just the fact that i could play games in high quality it was like my dreams had come true.

Best thing about last christmas though was that i had a job then (not anymore though) and felt really happy that i was able to buy presents for other people which i had never done before. Best thing was that i got a bargain from buying a 12 pack of large dog toys and i wrapped them all up separately. my poor dog didn't know which one to open first XD.

If possible i would love Beyond good and Evil.

yeah guess people in canada and some parts of the states might get sick of it lol :p
and well it might also be not so nice if its very slippery and you have to drive.
but thats nature.

but off with the offtopic :p and kudos to op for doing a contest like this when you have a part time job, have kids and still study.

Nice to see you're still around ChaunceyK. Arcanum forums are not the same without you.

Best X-mas wishes :)

And to keep with the topic, my best Christmas present was that. I was 10 when I got it and have been already crazy about Lego for about a half of my life :D

...and no, this isn't a contest entry :P

Thiev: snip
Mine was a bit smaller :-D

but I had real fun with it..
Best Christmas gift I got was the Lord of the Rings trilogy (the books) when I was a kid. I started reading immediately and didn't stop until I was finished. Christmas was often a hectic and stressful time for me, but that year I escaped successfully into a much more interesting world. ;)

And I'd like Two Worlds please, should I be drawn. Thanks for the contest. :)

I started with that one: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=6813-1
My first set (at a great age of 5 :P) and coincidentally also a Christmas gift.

I miss LEGO :((

I now regret not telling my family what I really wanted for Christmas :D
He-man, Skeletor, Adam and Ram-man. :)

(Though I was pretty sure I had asked for the entire collection :P )

PS.: I'm looking for Broken Sword 4. ;)

happy holidays everyone

my best holiday gift might be a starship from lego, it was a ship where a smaller ship could come out of the bigger shell if needed, i dont have any of my toys i had as a little kid, and i cant remember when and where i gave everything away, but i have fond memories

speaking of fond memories, i would like to get space quest 1+2+3 :)
