Syme: Happy Bastille Day, and happy birthday, TheCheese33.
Horus, please do not take anything said here as an accurate representation of the southeastern United States. When people talk about it, I rarely recognize the area where I have lived my entire life in their comments.

TheCheese33: Thank you, and I apologize for my comments about the area of Tennessee. I was traveling along the highway, you see, and the highway passes through many small towns and farm land. It is, by no means, an accurate representation of the entire state. I came to inaccurate conclusion while I visited, and while that particular town was stuck in a time long forgotten, the whole of Tennessee should not be assumed to be similar. I apologize once again, and hope that I did not upset you extremely.

Not extremely; and I admit to be a bit sensitive about it--partly because my parents didn't raise me to be that way even though we're from small towns.
But anyway, it's all forgotten now. Please don't worry about it.

cogadh: I hope the French members don't get pissed that you misspelled Bastille...
I took the liberty of fixing the topic, so I don't think they will. ;)

Useful fix, to be honest I didn't realize it was about french national day. I was just wondering "what's Bastele?" ^^
My favorite part out of Bastille day was when they executed the monarchy. Nothing says a revolution more than taking out the old and putting in the new with the tricolor flag.

Me too first, but a 'Bastele day' topic written a July 14th made me suspicious...
Ps: Quite strange to talk to another French in English but it seems natural in GOG's forum. It must be 'cause we're in minority and surrounded! =)

DarthKaal: PS: hey, you're not sleeping yet?? :p

I was about to say just that : "Time for revolution, yes. But first time to go to bed!"
By the way, for asking that it seems that you're not in France at the moment.

Girls too ^^
Yeah, add some saucy french maids into the deal and appelez-moi une grenouille (I hope babelfish translated that correctly)

Horus: Girls too ^^

Interestingly enough, quite a few non-French speaking girls told me they prefer my accent (Belgian French) when I speak English to the accent of French guys. They said it sounds more refined :monocle:
