michaelleung: Bump
I tried to buy VtM on D2D for $5 but D2D hates me. As always.

D2D hates everyone. It's time that people realised this.

They hate Americans too. But they have to make their money from somewhere.
Hey Mikey! Now you can buy Divine Divinity here, which is a great RPG!

Ask your employer to do this.
well tbh a few the one I'd reccomendabove all others has already been mentioned here but I guess theres no harm in reiterating it :)
I'd say:
Arcanum
Absolutly brilliant! I find there tends to be 2 main groups of ppl, those who like arcanum, and those who havnt played it yet.
have a look at this post from a while ago, see if that whets your appetite :)

JudasIscariot: Give Arx fatalis a try.

I was actually going to buy this a couple of days ago, but I had a browse around its forums (for reviews/opinions) and it seemed that it's fairly crash prone...?

Depends on your system, I guess...I don't remember what the common factor was on the crashes. I played the GOG version of Arx on an Intel GMA965 chipset and it did not crash or anything of the sort. And that Intel chipset is pretty damn crappy too.
I don't want to sound like a broken recorder, but you have to try this:

You should try Planescape:Torment it´s one the best RPG ever!

Zolgar: Block O' Text.

We've had the BG vs. other D&D games discussion before, but I think you just crossed a line there, my friend. I have five words for you:
"Go for the eyes, Boo."
:D

Hm.. I have what was a fairly modern single core P4 based on the Intel 945P chipset. I'll have to ask around, or just take a leap of faith, as it were.
I really want to try Arx given how much I enjoyed Ultima XIII (first and only foray into the Ultima series, and yes, I realise it wasn't the best of the series).
Thanks Judas!
