Yeah. At least with those though the stories were pretty unrelated. Halo 3 was a direct continuation of Halo 2, which we did get, and Halo 4 is after those.

It would be pretty fucking stupid.
So Since Windows 8 is almost out (God help us all)

I was wondering has you opinion on the new OS changed or still the same.

Still the same, as in best opportunity a developer could get.

Isn't that Microsoft's mission statement?

As in what you said:

You asked what's the others opinion on this. I replied, personally, that mine is that I consider the OS to be the best opportunity a developer could get. What's so confusing here?

Stupid question, but is there a way to upgrade now and buy the license later? I might get a few good deals with the research fellow program.

And I got a free evening and would like to spent it upgrading my machine and fiddling with Windows 8 ;-).

No idea about that, tbh. If you really want to try it now, you can install the 90 days evaluation version of Windows 8 Enterprise.

Doesn't that cause problems when I switch to Windows 8 pro later?

You'll have to reinstall your previous copy, if you're upgrading, most likely. I guess the best would be to just wait a bit.

Btw, I think if you upgrade (or get the retail copy) to Pro until January, you get the Media Center Pack for free (something like that).
