Is it only us, or do you also feel that spooky atmosphere lurking around the corner, making you shut all doors and windows and stay home this weekend? Thankfully we have an awesome promo that will make your stay fun... and spooky.

As this weekend we're approaching Halloween, and all sorts of ghosts, monsters, zombies and other creepy characters will once again take over the streets in search of... sweets (of course!), we recommend staying home, and benefiting from our special deal. This Halloween Weekend, until Monday, October 31 at 11:59 p.m. EDT, we're giving you a flat 50% discount on 12 horror themed classics!

Join , or get your vengeance on a soulless vampire lord in a journey through the ages in [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/vampire_the_masquerade_redemption]Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption. If you'd like to jump into something less serious, you can lead an army of ghosts as the Ghost Master, or hunt some creepy creatures with an array of machine guns in . All that and more is 50% cheaper this weekend, so [url=http://www.gog.com/en/promo/halloween_2011/]check the offer, and don't let some ghosts scare you!
Realms is a wonderful story-driven game. Very mature tone compared to most games. Lots of subtle horror and dread, not cheap pop-out monsters. Huge. Tech is old but they got everything they could from it.

Prydeless: Kilrathi are pretty scary too! *hint hint*
Yeah, and the goblins in Baldur's Gate... they are real badass!
Great promo, once I am home I will buy 3 games (at least) :)
Got Amnesia from GamersGate few hours ago... so I'm kind of done with buying games for this and probably the next month.

@GOG, you should get Penumbra and Amnesia on board.

It's already just the right price at GG and no drm, too.
Bought Sanitarium, Litile Divil and Gabriel Knight 1!

Any more suggestions??? But I was hoping for NOX and Arcanum...
Gabriel Knights, yoink! That's my weekend sorted. Also grabbed the Penumbra Collection for £4.50 from GG. By Sunday evening, my eyes will be bleeding and my pants will be steaming.
Really surprised that Waxworks isn't in this special :D I thought it was Halloween-ish.

Hi Andremop, if you like adventure games then the GK series and Scratches are excellent mature/horror games. Scratches is slow-burning but genuinely creepy - you're alone in a big old house, with the obligatory creepy basement etc. Some genuinely f*cked-up jump moments when you play alone in the dark :)

Yes, I was already tempted with Scratches, I think i'll go for it too!
But I don't really liked Gabriel Knight 2 when I played it back then to be honest, and 3 looks so hideous it scares me in the wrong way!
Noooooo! I already bought Scratches from Steam, on their Halloween Sale, just an hour earlier. And now i receive the e-mail about gogs sale. I hope the gog-team can forgive me my impatient betrayal. ;-)

I actually never played the Gabriel Knight games, and figured I'd play them the day they would be in a promo on GOG...

So glad this day finally happened :-D
