Well I actually would agree that a lot of it's difficulty is based on bad design. It probably is deliberately bad design tho, which kind of makes it better.

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily agree. Once I got into the right mindset I didn't find it that hard (not bragging, just saying). Dark Souls has more flawed design, but I still love it. ;D

Gazoinks - i wasnt meaning to imply that at all - I am sorry for the mis-understanding. I merely meant that if a game stops bringing u pleasure and u get annoyed at it, perhaps its time to give it a break and come back to it when it starts to give u pleasure again. This world is so serious, I hate the thought that things that are meant to be fun can cause anguish !

Again, I was being ironic, not critical - as I said I am a cr*p gamer :D

Yeah, no, just a personal pet peeve of mine. And yeah, there's not much point if you're not having fun. Maybe try a different genre or a different hobby entirely. Like curling! Or cheese racing! :D

I kind of am, lol. But i have never been as Geeky in personality as alot of guys that "have no life". I find it hard to tolerate overly social people, but i'm not enough of a hardcore geek to fit in with the stay at home crowd. Loner it is.

There's no comparison between the two. Fallout 3 is an RPG, Half-Life 2 is a rollercoaster.
