Well, if you are interested in action rpgs, I would recommend Nox.

For stealth games, the entire Thief series. Nothing like remaining invisible while being surrounded by enemies. :)

Any of the Dungeon and Dragon and Might and Magic games (available on GOG and Steam). You can also go with any of Elder Scrolls games (Elder Scrolls III - V available on Steam). The anthology is coming out on Sept 10 for Elder Scrolls which will include all of the games for $79. Here are a few of the favorites that people still follow and enjoy..

Heroes of Might and Magic III, Fallout 2, Arcanum.
IMO the three compulsory purchases for any new GOGer.

Gothic 3: Forsaken God's Edition is easily the best game on GOG.

And Fallout 2 is better, though I would still recommend playing them in order.
