Guess #4: Is it Master of Orion 1+2, which is sold as one purchase on GOG? They are opposites of each other, with MOO1's relative simplicity and MOO2 being so very complicated.

I am confused... I thought your game was already correctly guessed. Am I misunderstanding?
I just made a post and then 4 minutes made a separate post, and it was auto-combined into one post and labeled as "edited now."

Now I am making this post 24 minutes later, so it should certainly be a separate post. Apologies to chevkoch for my confusion a little while ago. I didn't see that the rules had been updated.

This is probably stupid of me to use up another one of my guesss when I don't even know if my previous guess is correct or not, but here goes anyway because I think I have finally figured out what you mean. My guess #6: Is it Magrunner: Dark Pulse?

Also, here is my own clue #2, which is for a different game than my first clue. The clue is "clown."
