I haven't been following so came here to find out about this shinyloot thing. What is it? is it like steam? is it safe backed by big company?

Most importantly groupees say all keys distributed through shinyloot do they mean even for the steam key I MUST retrieve it at shinyloot site? as the steam keys will no longer appear in my groupees page like usual?

Shinyloot came out of beta a while ago
In the Groupees promo you HAVE to set up a ShinyLoot account. Once setup and logged in, you redeem the key Groupee gives you. Then you see the desura/steam keys/drm downloads for the game(s) u bought in Groupees
Its a long winded process, but thats the way this promo bundle works :(

You get a shiny loot key, and then on the shiny loot page a steam key will be shown. You do have to go to shiny loot first though. FWIW - the shiny loot site seemed well thought out and intuitive to me.

Aztaka has been unlocked. Alien Shooter 2 will be unlocked at 5000 bundles sold.

The keys are shown on your ShinyLoot games page and you do get extra keys if you redeem a game you already have. I already have Aztaka and i got a new Steam key on my games page after redeeming it from this bundle.

Ugh, all 3 of the bonuses have been repeats. Shiny Loot has a better selection than this, the bonuses could've been better.. hopefully there'll be more of them, but the current goal will take a while to unlock. All I need is the Children of the Nile expansion, and the lowest that's been on Steam was 99 cents, so not a great deal for me.

Anyone here fairly familiar with Aztaka?

I tried the demo version, and it looked pretty enough, so I bought this bundle just to get it. I uninstalled the demo before installing the full version.

On the full version, the scrolling text intro doesn't play at all ("These events were witnessed by the hummingbird", etc.), and then the chieftain-type fella (your mentor?) doesn't appear at the start, and neither does his text. If I click around on the screen for a while, the game will advance as if I'd talked to him...

Anyway, all the forum posts have disappeared from the Citeremis (the dev) site, so it's not easy to chase down bug solutions.

In short, demo worked fine, full version seems to be a mess. Just wondering if anyone's got an easy fix.
