Barefoot_Monkey: The shmups that aren't bullet hell look nice, so I got them. I don't think the Exceed games are for me - but since the first one was a bonus I guess I have a chance to try it and see if I'm wrong :)
The first one won't win you over. Exceed 2 & 3 are good (2 in particular, which combines an Ikaruga-style polarity system & bullet hell). The first one is not very good.

He really enjoys his shooters yeah, but i thought it was desura, he doesnt use steam, so throw
it at someone else ;)

I wanted the beat 'em up, fighting game and visual novels, but it's just as well, god knows I've got a big enough backlog to get through as it is.
