Well, it is a flexible funding campaign, so maybe they intend to forge ahead whatever. It does make one wonder what state the game will be in, though.

Why would they when (1) they hold worldwide distribution rights, (2) have been trying to get Capcom JP to sell it on Steam in Japan, and (3) none of the eXceed keys - another set of games Capcom JP won't sell - were region locked?

In short, no, they won't be region locking them. Nyu Media know this is pretty much the only way those of us in Japan can get their games on Steam and are happy to advertise as such.

For our heavy-indie-bundle-buyer some more informations: Croixleur was in Indie Royale Bundle Debut 2.0 and War of the Human Tanks in Indie Royale Mighty Bundle, Bundle in a box and in a Gamersgate Indiefort bundle. That's maybe the reason why they sound familiar to me while I don't have them. About the rest I'm not sure and too lazy to check ;-)
