ET3D: That's what I originally talked about. "They screwed over people who bought the game by giving away more stuff." That's a shitty attitude. People got exactly what was advertised, plus more bonuses, and then they complain because their precious $0.75 didn't get them the best version available, which wasn't promised in the first place.
I think you're missing the point. The people who chose the game in their bundle have a version that's inferior to the version that everyone gets, even the people who didn't chose that game.

RaggieRags: I know it sold considerably less than this one, but was it truly a failure?

spoderman: Its one of the least selling Groupees game bundles.. Might be the lowest selling game bundle but I'm not sure.1,374 bundles sold and the 2nd bonus goal wasn't reached.

I guess it's a matter of perspective if it was a failure or not, since 1,000+ bundles sold isn't THAT bad, at least the dev made some money off of it.
I think that one failed because there was near to no advertising on it, it wasn't posted prominent on the main page, was in direct competition with another game bundle on groupees at the time and the pricing points possibly put off people who were unsure about the games and if they would even like the genres or not.

That's true. I bet it would've done a lot better if it were advertised more, and was in a build a bundle format. Sadly I think I remember Winter Wolves not being interesting in bundles after the low success of that bundle.. I can't remember where I read that post at though, so I might be making that part up lol.
From this (oldish) thread it looks like Winter Wolves isn't against doing more bundles: http://www.winterwolves.net/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=2904&p=17992#p17992

Oh ok, so I remembered wrong. Sucks that they can't get their games on GOG.

Foxhack: Man... is this Groupees' most successful bundle to date?
Be Mine Anniversary was the most successful to date iirc, with 25k sold .

Groupees are my favorite with their build a bundle & bonuses, just outstanding!

I can understand how someone for whom Android is the main gaming platform will feel like they wasted $0.75 on a PC version they don't need. For PC players I don't understand why they would feel that the Android version makes the version they paid for redundant.

erm; we repeted multiples times ; the android version is voice acted, the pc version isn't -> but that not mentioned ,...

i posted a link to the desura webpage; i'm sorry if you don't see the difference :(

plus the android version is free, even if you didn't payed the pc version....so.....android users wasted nothing

as i said i'm fine with the actual bundle, but could have been better if they didn't make a mistake... now it's possible the android version isn't free anymore, but since i picked up the pc version i can't tell.

I agree, it should have been stated which version is on offer. Other than this, I still don't see why offering an Android version should make most people feel cheated. (It's still free, by the way.)

The light shed by the CAFE 0 ~The Drowned Mermaid~ incident on how Groupees seems to "plan" their bundles and "handle" with devs is quite interesting - and not necessarely in a good way.
Nevermind...
