jamesbuc: Eschalon is very old-school sort of gameplay. Think spiderweb software's stuff (Avernum, Avadon, Geneforge) and you'll have a good idea what your getting yourself into. Worth noting that Book III is due to come out soon too.

nijuu: Hmmm time to get my hands on a copy of book i then :P
Good thing the first book is pretty cheap (on steam anyway. Dunno about anywhere else)
I'm in for the 1$ bundle, with Eschalon II. Got most of the rest or no interest in soundtracks.. Go, Groupees!

nijuu: Whats the original Eschalon like?
I played almost twenty hours of it before I couldn't stand any more. The player character moves very slowly, the story is somewhere between dull and non-existent, and character development and combat tactics are far too simplistic to provide any entertainment.

I wanted to love it and I was looking forward to playing it, but it was so basic, featureless and unimaginative that I regret the time I wasted on it.
The bundle is now live!

I see 2 worlds 2 there then notice its steam and then notice it has drm on top of steam, that is a joke.

be guaranteed you could palm it off. Lots of ppl dont care about the drm (unlike a lot of us)
Ok, Steam redeemability for Harvey's New Eyes means German audio is available, which is nice. I'm still waiting for them to add something else that interests me, though (some bonus or that mystery game, perhaps).
I was set to buy at least the $1 tier because of Eschalon: Book 2 (don't know anything about the other games), but Asbeau's review has made me think twice (he is not the first person I hear voicing a similar opinion). Edna & Harvey looks intriguing, but it also looks like one of those adventure games that make me feel stupid. Two Worlds 2 is tempting, but the DRM is off-putting. Oh well, I'll wait and see.

This is MUCH better than the current Indie Gala if you bought the Humble Introversion bundle. The only games I already had were TW2 and Major Mayhem. If you don't have any of the games from the new indie gala, I guess it'd depend on how much you like the genre (seems like mostly strategy games). Groupees has way more variety. I personally don't like when a bundle focuses on only one genre.

I wonder what the mystery game is though.

THe only one I want this bundle is Party of Sin :P
I'll be grabbing this one as soon as I get paid....
Got it mainly for Party of Sin and New Eyes.
I just gave Planets under Attack a try and it's a great little game.

It's Galcon with a lot of additions, but as a whole, imo, this works surprisingly well. It's as if Galcon was a prototype to test the core mechanic and Planets under Attack is a complete full blown game.

Well at least that's my impression after playing for about 2 hours.
