nijuu: A lot of us would prefer it DRM free thanks
011284mm: So do I. Just if it is Steam I can skip the game more easily. I only have games on Steam that I can not get else where, and will buy again as soon as they appear in my preferred DRM free format. I really am willing to pay $30 to get a DRM free version of Hitman Absolution, but I know it will be years so I gave into Steam.
It just sits ill that I had to convince myself not to buy it when it came out as it looks really good and I would also like the soundtrack. Yet to bundle the game so early, especially in a bundle that is going to be less then the sale price of your game really does seem cruel to those who did buy it.
I only buy DRM-free for myself, but I get your point. The bundling of Ittle Dew, if DRM-free, is going to be a bit of a sting to GOG as well, who took a chance on releasing it here and now will see its value plummet for the near future. Not a lot of folks will be ponying up $13.99, even for the GOG extras, when they'll be able to get the game (and several others) for a dollar.
So while I hope (albeit selfishly) that it is available DRM-free, I can see how that would be a bit of an insult to the vendors and customers who supported it at full price during its brief time on the market.
