Or perhaps Primordia...
somebody said that the action takes place in Metropol - "the city of light" and "Ages have passed since legendary Man walked the planet", the robot has to find the Gospel of Man.
It's about 6 months old, and has a 72 metascore.

It's actually Resident Evil Revelations, because it has flashlights and you are controlling a Man in it or not.

PaterAlf: Played for some hours now and it is a very solid platform/puzzle game. Not super awesome, but fun to play. They put a lot of effort into the design, especially the animations and the soundtrack are great. There's also a nice little background story that is interesting enough to keep you playing.

The level design and the difficulty of the puzzles are ok. It starts easy and gets harder with the time, but not to the point where you want to bang your head against the wall, because you can't find the solution. So far everything was doable.

All in all I would say it's a good game if you like that kind of stuff. Well worth some dollars, but not one of the most amazing games in that genre.
Thanks and sorry for the late reply

Not sure...but if one scrolls through the 100 indie games listed on Steam (and why do they do that - only list 100?), then there are only a few things that it could be.

Nah, there's more than 100 indie games, look here! :D http://store.steampowered.com/search/?sort_by=Metascore&sort_order=DESC&category1=998&price=0%2C10&genre=Indie#category1=998&genre=Indie&advanced=0&sort_by=Metascore&sort_order=DESC&page=1

I know but if you go to "featured", they only list 100 games under any category - very annoying!
I kinda wonder why indie is in quotes. Sounds like it's an indie game that was picked up by a big publisher, kinda like Bastion.

Could be Mark of the Ninja, Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, or Deadlight. All those games are published by Microsoft Studios but have 'indie' developers behind them.
EightyEight games is the publisher of 10,000,000

But it's metascore is too low ;-(
