I think given the current state of the market, we'll be getting lots of "straight to bundle" releases, as an equivalent to "straight to video" movies. With everything that that entails. Arguably, we're probably already there.

But, this isn't even a release. The game is still in early access. And if I'm not mistaken, Amanita did it first with Botanicula.

Do not think so. 3089 was a kickstarter and bundled in alpha, I think... but to be honest I have lost track of games that are kickstarted. 3089 is one of the games I have

I'm not sure how the developers do with the early bundling and if it is a bad or a good thing.
Wrackgame already showed that the exposure on the frontpage of steam already lead to skyrocketing sales:

Maybe rising on the top-seller list by appearing in a bundle does a similar thing. I am surprised about Nekro thought, but maybe they also try to add a higher tier(PWUW, X$, 10+$) like humblebundle does lately.

Did Miasmata ever get a patch? I heard it is unplayable on some graphics cards.

Oh man, Spate, Antisquad and Nekro, I think I am going to have to eat my no-games promise.

Nekro seems to have Sacrifice-like gameplay, but it looks sexier than Sacrifice, so I am more likely to play it ^^

edit: on second thought, I have 400+ games to play, so not.

Meant patched so that the bug was fixed. According to the gog page, it has not been.
