The link is not for the game itself, but for bonus material (a pdf with a short story). I'm not sure how likely a DRM-free version of Aerena would be - as far as I can see, the game is sold as a Steam key everywhere, and as a multiplayer game, it might depend on the Steamworks API.

Ah, thanks. I didn't bother with it myself, so had just assumed it was a free download of the client with a standalone/trainer mode built in. Not too fussed that the game isn't DRM-free, as it's not my cuppa anyway. :)

Well it's a very good bundle - especially for those of us that love a good adventure game ;-) Plus it's got a pretty excellent range of games for everyone and zero repeats of bundled games.

Personally I am thrilled with 1953, Grimm, Infected and even Redshirt looked sort of fascinating...

Yeah well for the basic price plus some bucks to a good charity and for games I'm probably going to play once, I'm not all that terribly concerned. Sadly drm-free comes with other issues lately :-(

your not another one who is going to rag on about groupees server issues are u?.wish people would get over it.
And what i find strange - they fixed the Dracula one from someone donating back the drm free files, why cant they do the same for the missing games remaining?.

Nope - not what I meant though I do hope they get it fixed for those that want the DL's.

Is it just me, or do you get 2 copies of Aerena?

I redeemed it on Steam, and there is now 1 copy in my library, but also there seems to be one in my inventory (Aerena Steam Gift - tradable, not marketable)

Yes, you do. It seems to be a marketing tactic of choice for multiplayer games nowadays as a method to drive up server populations. AirMech, Starvoid, The Ship and Nuclear Dawn did the same thing.
