Yep. Indeed. Got a Double Fine email about it then read it on several game news sites. It's coming people. What a lot of us consider to be a masterpiece adventure will *AT LAST* be available to the masses once again. I sure hope this comes to GOG...
Nope, it won't even be released on PC...

Man, I just literally said, on topic title, that they CONFIRMED a PC RELEASE. Including Mac and Linux. :)

Sorry but I shat my pants out of happiness and didn't think to check if it had a thread already. :)

At first it looked as it wouldn't even be released on PC, haven't checked the old thread in a while.

Tim gave no indication that it was unlikely on PC he only asked for a little patience but many people were quick to jump all over Double Fine and Sony for making a beloved PC game console exclusive.

Well, it IS a bit strange to confirm the remake of a PC classic on a console first and PC gamers always fear to be left behind these days for good reasons.

It isn't that strange when you consider that Sony is putting up the cash for it to be made for PS4 and were integral in negotiations with Disney to get the rights of the game to allow Tim and Double Fine to remake it as they had been trying for many years before this partnership with Sony to get the rights of the game without much success. :)
This is great for gamers but doesn't seem like it would make DF a bunch of money since they're just licensing from Disney.

I have no idea if that's true or not.

But DF gives me the impression that it's about the games and the gamers, not about the money.

Not having the money is a big reason why there's no Psychonauts 2. Even Notch balked.
I hope for a BOXED version, I need to put this near Full Throttle (hoping is only a HD version of the original).
