If anyone gets the error included in the picture, download the .exe from the site and put it in the game directory, you aren't supposed to run it. Kind of weird, eh?

Interesting. Is this from the ScummVM crew or just a shameless rip-off, design wise? Either way I am excited by the prospect. Imagine if it expanded into other early 3D Lucasarts engines and games such as Shadows of the Empire or Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine, two games which are impossible to get working on modern Windows in my experience.

Anyway, I can try this out some time soon, I have the files for both supported games in the form of CD rips from before I sold all my discs.

I am a bit confused, you guys didn't know about this program? I finished the game using this a long time ago.
I've known about this program for ages, unfortunately I don't know of any digital retailer selling the game.
Still hoping for a GOG release.

I will be honest, is there any point in NOT pirating it?! The game has become such a rarity it's become useless hoping for a digital release. I got lucky when some plank sold it to a pawn shop for about 20p with a box of old starwars games.

Sure we did.

But of course it is from time to time good to bump these topics, especially if there have been updates to them.

Which reminds me, I was delighted that the 1.2.0 version of Munt finally has a proper installer, and you don't have to copy around config files, dlls and such over into the depths of different Windows system folders manually anymore.

Not sure if the emulator itself has gotten any other improvements (besides the installer), but it doesn't matter as it still sounds good.

Well I already finished it back in the day, so I would just be playing it again because I think it's a great game.
I also have a reasonably sized backlog so I don't need to pirate games.
And I like feeling morally superior to people that pirate games.
ResidualVM is also working towards making Myst III compatible, which should be good if it ever comes to GOG

I will be honest, I only ever pirate something that I cannot find on disc (or digital release). Pirating something that is regularly available really annoys me personally.

It doesn't seem to be that rare there's 24 for sale on ebay.co.uk at the moment and 19 have sold recently for as little as £7.89.

I have the original retail version, do I just put the disc in the drive and activate the "setup" and launch the game with the downloaded launcher?

Or do I need some virtual addition as well?

Thanks for any help and +1 for the linkage :)
