Im kinda superpissed about this. Why the **** do devs do this?. YES i DO realise im backing an idea blah blah... BUT people who backed them early took a chance and its paid off. And in return they wait for the finished game ....only to find out others can buy in at a price well below the lowest tier on the project. Im really mega disappointed.

If this keeps happening, i wont bother to back any kickstarters anymore. Its lack of respect for the people who helped them get the game off the ground that got my knickers in a twist (Strike Suit Zero devs did something similar as im sure certain other ones have.)

I also do not think you should back any kickstarters. I does not look like it is for you.

I love kickstarters and the theory and idea behind games. I have NO trouble with most of the ones i have backed. Only a handful really given me the supershit's and i really hope other backers will complain to the devs of the games which do this crap.

Kickstarting isn't about preordering cheaper that in retail. As amok said - your reaction makes it clear Kickstarter is not for you.

Kickstarter means you are giving money to make game happen. I can imagine someone doing kickstarter and not giving any rewards except 'thank you'.

Now, I gave 15$ to guy who did Paper Sorcerer, and it's released here for 5$. Should I feel bad about that or should I be proud I was one of those guys who made this game possible?

you have not explained yourself. you ranted that you got *whatever* at some point, and now someone can get it cheaper.... that do not relate to this at all. And it is because of this mentality that I say that kickstarter is probably not for you. You should be proud that you helped getting something made, not angry that someone now can buy it cheaper

Niggles: The ****ers put the game on sale on Steam for 12.49 < 18 buck tier on Kickstarter.

At least the loyalist edition comes with a promised expansion, right?

We're ready to liven up your holiday season with the first segment of Act 3. This stretch of levels will take you from Smugglers Pass to Deadman's Gulch, into the Mountain Deeps and beyond to the gates of Homestead. With these new areas to explore, the player level cap has been raised to 40.

Also included is an expansive side-region with additional questing through the Pine Barrens, Jagged Waste and Tyrant's Hold, plus other secrets.

You will be able to secure the riftgate outside of Homestead, although you cannot yet enter the town. However, the second chapter of Act 3 is already nearing completion and we expect to release it by mid-March or earlier. We've been working on various parts of the end-game in parallel, which is why it's taken so long to see the first results but the rest should follow more quickly.

B23 also contains additional item art, improvements, fixes and balancing changes. Check out the forum post to view the full change log.

On another note, we've gotten a few emails from KS backers over the past year who missed prior updates and didn't know all backers were able to play. So, just to reiterate, if you backed Grim Dawn on KS, you can currently play on Steam. If you need help retrieving and using your key, refer to this post for details or email support.

Happy holidays!"
50% off on Steam.
Great game but as a KS backer im not impressed with them slashing prices for the sake of a sale.
