saw this this morning, and it made me wonder that perhaps they will actually be getting on with the second; this can only be good news for those of us who purchased that bundle in a box bundle!

How long have they working on the rest of the series now?

Look at the release date at the end of the trailer for E2 they put on Greenlight page :)
I lost hope they'll move on with this... guess I need to play the episode I have and, well, hope the cliffhanger at the end will let me sleep :)

Devs made recently several GAs on Steamgifts to promote this game, so I think it's still alive.

I’m glad that you’re still waiting for Act II, and we really have to apologize for the huge delay. Actually we had a lot of trouble to complete this episode (you can read our ‘dev diary’ on Phoenix - the team behind Cognition series - blog, in which we talk about the project and the difficulties of development), but I can assure we are going to release it VERY soon. You have to trust me :D .
