This sounds like a neat idea. A bit like Impulse, this service lets you buy games online and download them. But what's new is that you can resell games once you're done you can resell the game back to the store. There's nothing about reselling them on to fellow users, but I doubt it will happen in the near future. The difference to this and Impulse is that Impulse doesn't seem to let you resell games yet, even after GOO. This (hopefully) isn't vaporware and they expect to have a few hundred games at launch and around 2000 (almost as much as Steam) by the end of the year. Thoughts? I hope this will work. I'd buy from here more than anywhere else (except for GOG, but that's different).

Lets see if it actually takes off. I imagine most publishers don't want to back a digital company that resells games back to itself unless its getting a piece of that action. I don't think they are fond of gamestop in the US for the second hand market as it is.

Meh. The only thing that's going to make me buy from anywhere other than Steam is a completely DRM Free platform.

I wonder if they'll end up like GamersGate, a few AAA titles but 80% of what they sell you never hear of and those are the games that look cheap, get no support, and are sold out of luck to someone who happened to be curious for a game like that. Stuff like Tarr Chronicles or Parkan 1+2.

I'm wondering how they'll do it with multiplayer games.
Will old keys be blocked and new ones issued?
And how about DLC?
Will you be able to sell it apart from the original game, can you keep DLC while selling the original game (although I don't see why)?
As for Steam, I can only assume that if they start offering this it will be for Steam users only.
So kind of a Steam market place for 2nd hand games.
I guess that all depends on the contracts they have with publishers.

Interested in how they'll implement and run it.
Personally, I have enough clients and DD services I use now and don't want more, they'd need a lot of impressive titles to get me to use another.

I don't think they have 400 titles at launch. But that's a given.

I bought Necrovision expansion and downloading it. Download speed is really fast and trade in function also working too. You can buy the games and when you finished you can resell it to the store and you have your credit on account and with that credit you can buy a new game again, cool.

Damn it, no paypal?! I'm not ready to divulge my credit card details to these guys, and even if I'm willing, the conversion fee would be way higher than the 1 pence price. Oh well..
...and you can't put more than 1 game in a cart, too. Definitely not a good first impression...

No paypal ? Too bad... Yeah, i know i know, paypal is shit and all that stuff... but so far I never had any problems with it, so an online store that doesn't have a paypal option is a no-go for me.

It's a client system, mostly similar to Impulse. You can download the games as many times as you want, though you must have the Capsule client installed. You can manually set the install location regardless of where you installed the client.
