Love the website, have a huge collection of games, yet ran into my first problem today and thus far support has been less than useless.

So I bought Privateer 2: The Darkening today, and for some reason right after I bought it, it didn't show up in my game collection (which is easy to spot because I have it both sorted by purchase date, plus I hide any games I've already downloaded to my computer). I submit a request saying that it didn't show up in my collection even though the site says it's owned.

The wonderful response: Our records indicate you purchased this and it's in your list.

Kinda frustrated that my 89th game from GoG finally has an issue and so little effort. :(

That was... less than useful, I agree.

A while ago the shelf had an error in that it wouldn't show your games if you had less than five games non-hidden. I don't know if that has since been fixed or not, but if you do have fewer games shown, try unhiding a few.

If that doesn't help, try this: https://secure.gog.com/en/account/refresh/

Tried that as well. Even logged into my account from a different device.

Edit: it was shelf/collection bug. :s

English isn't the first language for our support staff, and they may have misunderstood you. If I had to guess, I'd say it's the outstanding bug that we have on the shelves at the moment; have you hidden most of the games on your shelf so that you only see one game? If that's the case, then you need to make sure that you have enough games unhidden that more than one game is supposed to display on your shelf.

If you have more than one game displaying, it may also be that you need to have more than one game displayed on any given row of your shelf. I don't recall if that's the case or not. In either case, try un-hiding a game and see if Privateer 2 magically shows up.

Our Dev team is working on the issue, although I do not know what the ETA is for the fix.

EDIT: Looking at your account, I can see that you *do* have Privateer 2 on your account, so one way or the other it should be there, and I haven't seen other people complaining about not getting Privateer 2. I'm guessing it's the hidden items shelf bug. Sorry about that. :(

May I ask exactly how you hide games?

I normally don't have it listed by shelf, but just by collection. I actually tried unhiding a game and it does display now after. So thank you to both for pointing out this bizarre bug to me.

Click the hide game button on the screen when a game is selected. It's the only way to keep track when you had to do like I used to and use someone else's faster connection to download all the great games here.

Click on a game on your shelf.

There's no problem in leaving those serial numbers uncovered?

Ah, I use Opera as my default web browser and for some reason this option is not available. I just check in Firefox, and sure enough it shows up there. Thanks for letting me know, and I hope you get your troubles resolved soon!

Oh, thank you for that!
It turns out my browser is the cause, it seems to be blocking some features here on GOG. (Which explains how I had never seen the 'Hide' button before.) Thanks you guys!

I probably should have, but it's not like I've had the time to play the game at all. If someone else uses the code and I want it, I'll go rough up Support and make them give me another. :P

Also, I still have the serial codes from my own retail copy lying around somewhere...

EDIT: Either way, thanks for the heads up. :)
