Gray Matter is released? That is...unexpected...

Bloody hell, it's released? I've got the development blog in my RSS reader! Did they forget to update that?

It's a brand new adventure game by Jane Jensen. If this isn't something I'd like to support with my money, I don't know what is.

EDIT: Except it's being released only in German, but possibly also English, and no one quite knows anything yet. Digital delivery is apparently coming in the future. I think I'll wait a while before it all settles down; shipping a boxed copy from Germany for €6 seems a bit too excessive.

39.95 euros is a bit steep though, imo.

It was released two days ago. And I almost finish chapter 2 right now...IT'S REALLY AWESOME!

Surprising, especially after Mamba Games said the delay of the English version (which is due out in February) was due to the game needing extra development time.

Yeah, the marketing and info surrounding Gray Matter has been a huge mess. Really a shame considering it's a Jane Jensen game.

On a positive note; although there has been some complaining about the animations, I'm glad a lot of players is giving it the thumbs up.

Is their PR guy in a coma? That and the high price tag will probably see this game fall by the wayside. Even after Amnesia's hype and riding high in the Steam charts for a while it wasn't enough. So I don't see this one doing well, unfortunately.

It's ridiculous. They could have at least put the word out to gaming websites. That would have been a nice free bit of PR by itself.
