Breaking News: Some assholes thought it would be a great idea to make a SECOND GODDAMN GOG GROUP ON MOTHERFUCKING STEAM.

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/gogcom

^WTF IS THIS BULLSHIT^

Gentlemen, you do know this wholeheartedly means absolute civil war. I can clearly see it, noble old game fans battling viciously against Alan Wake newbies.

FUCK THIS!

Glory to the one true GOG.com Steam Group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/goodoldgames
Never really understood the idea of having a GOG group on Steam. It's kinda like having an AA meeting in a brewery.

They have Tupperware meetings once in a while.
lol.
Oh cool, hopefully one these mugs can trade me for that damn Drakensang prequel already.

Also, anyone on steam do NWN2 co-ops?

Quite an apt analogy.
Sounds like OP is a TAD bit upset.(Well from that and his comment on the new steam group....:\.....)

I got an invite from them, and wondered if it was made by GOG staff or something to promote the site. Haven't signed up with them yet, though.

(At least they spelled GOG right....and not gOG, GOg, etc.)

What do you mean by this analogy? That GOGgers going to/making/joining a steam group isn't a good idea since many dislike Steam, or something else?

Dude, you don't have anything to do with that, right? (seeing how you and the admin are using the same avatar.) :)

In any case, OP, here, have some lemonade.

Well, the analogy is that GOG are like sophisticated gentlemen and scholars who play the really good classic games, while the people on steam are generally peasants who eat up every bit of shovel-ware and visual diarrhea the big game companies crap on them.

Well the whole AA members in a brewery analogy would only work if GOG members(AA members) had sampled the site's(brewery's) "wares" before and couldn't control themselves around such wares(Thus making the brewery a bad meeting spot choice.)&keep from buying them. I'd think a GOG member(AA member/alcoholic) who didn't like such wares wouldn't have anything to worry about by going on Steam(The brewery) as they wouldn't be inclined to sample said wares (due to their disinterest in them), making Steam(the brewery) as valid/safe a location to visit(hold a meeting) as any.

Well I just left a message. :p

I'd say it's more like eating KFC in a McDonalds.
