I bought rayman just yesterday ( the 1st rayman btw) and if I try to launch graphic mode setup.exe and save the settings I get "Error: Game not installed) anyone know how to fix it?

btw, I didn't know the game runs through dosbox and you guys should've put that on the store page.

Thanks for any replies!

I recognise that symptom. Are you running Graphic mode setup.exe by clicking on it in the game folder? If so, that's the problem.

The program needs extra parameters passed to it to tell it which game it's configuring.

Running it from the start menu shortcut should work (and you can copy that shortcut to somewhere else if you want).

Hope that helps!

Hmm, this may help with a problem I'm having. I will have to see.

It's the same way the games work. The desktop/start menu/game explorer shortcut passes instructions to DOSBox. If you just run the DOSBox.exe in the game folder it won't work.
I put it on the desktop and start menu. Same thing. I must not get what you're talking about.
If it's a game using dosbox go into the game folders, find the dosbos.conf file, open it in notepad, and change the graphical mode yourself. It is usually set to surface, but can be set to whatever you choose.

No no, don't put it in the start menu.

There should already be a configuration shortcut in your start menu from when you installed the game. Should be under Programs>GOG.com>[gamename]>Graphic mode setup.
