Tag Team Game Rumble!

You could hear the sound of crowds going wild! You could hear hear the epic guitar riffs going off! You could hear the sound of muscular bodies slamming against the arena floor! No, this wasn't the echoes of Wrestlemania XXX. It was our very own special [url=http://www.gog.com/gamerumble]Battle of the Games 2014 promo, with stables of amazing games facing off each other three by three in explosive combat. You, dear GOGgers, were the referees. Now, the time has come for the grand finale! We know who won, and who did not. All of the participating games are now simultaneously on sale for the next 48 hours!
Lovely. Looking forward to seeing what comes up, although I can imagine there'll be a lot of bitching and moaning again about why people aren't voting for the titles they want.

KOC: unreal 1 and tournament, two of my most fondly remembered fps games from the 90s... voted...not a fan of red faction or chaser
Red Faction's an awesome game, and RF2 isn't bad, but Chaser is fucking horrid.

Wouldn't be a GOG sale without random bitching and moaning. Don't forget about the "why is game T here instead of game V".
It's not the first time like that - when 2 packs of games are voted here, distribuition of votes goes like 1/3 to 2/3. Odd :>
Another interesting promo, keep it up!
Anyone know whether this promo is likely to be every day this week?. or just a few days?.

True lol! Last time I thought it was due to the visible votes, but now they're hidden.. weird.

Anyway, great promo, even if I own most of the titles except for Witcher2 (which has a really tempting discount).

Hey! You know... this is a pretty good promo idea! Looking at it, I see some similarities with promos from the past but it looks like you took some of the community feedback and tweaked it this way and that to end up with the current voting promo. On the surface so far it looks like a good rollout. One thing I noticed right away is that we vote on A or B, but we don't get to see the tally of what everyone else voted on like in a few previous promos. I think that's a big win as it keeps the mystery up a bit and also prevents the monkey-see-monkey-do syndrome, or people trying to game the vote if they see their choice is not likely to win. I definitely prefer it being a blind vote anyway. Simple, non-cluttered and something to anticipate each day, but without having to sit at the computer 24/7 for the next item to show up. ;oP

You gotta throw Mr. Keane into one of the votes though just for old times' sake. ;o) I grabbed JK1 from a promo for $1 already and although I haven't played it yet I'm totally going to pick up JK2 whenever it eventually dips below $4. ;oP
Is the voting account-based or IP-based? If it's the latter, and it seems to me that way, it could easily be rigged. I already voted earlier today and on logging in another time now (presumably with a new IP) I get the option to vote again ...
I like this promo, kudos to the creative guys at GOG for letting your user base be a part of your deals.

I voted for the Red Faction pack just because I'm a pseudo-underdog hipster who thinks Unreal is already well-known as it is.

Not picking any games today (mostly because I'm out of money), but The Witcher titles at those prices are absolute steals! I own them both here on GOG and I can't recommend them enough, at these prices it's a no-brainer, if you don't have them already, make yourselves a favour and nab them ASAP!

Awesome promo! Can't wait to see whats in store the coming days!
Yes! I was thinking about getting Heroes 3 at some point, and now it's a great time!

GabiMoro: Heroes 2 is a must have and so is Heroes 3. I don't really recommend the campaigns but the single scenarios.
May I ask you why do you think so? Don't get me wrong I also think that single scenarios are absolutely awesome, I spent countless hours with HoMM 3, playing single and random maps but I still prefer the campaigns. A lot of scripted events, transferable heroes, unique objectives and a nice plot line make it a great experience. That's why I absolutely love Heroes Chronicles collection - there are just campaigns there after all.

On a side note - I think it's a good time to get digital backups of HoMM 1 & 2 :)
My backlog tells me to vote for Red faction. But My Heart tells me to vote for Unreal.
What is a Welsh nerd to do!?

IP based. I'm on a different computer now, went to check the current results, and have the option to vote again instead.
ok, this deal basically forced me to buy Heroes III even though I have it right here on CDs on my desk... and now I'm downloading it and I'll probably play it this evening :D
