Tag Team Game Rumble!

You could hear the sound of crowds going wild! You could hear hear the epic guitar riffs going off! You could hear the sound of muscular bodies slamming against the arena floor! No, this wasn't the echoes of Wrestlemania XXX. It was our very own special [url=http://www.gog.com/gamerumble]Battle of the Games 2014 promo, with stables of amazing games facing off each other three by three in explosive combat. You, dear GOGgers, were the referees. Now, the time has come for the grand finale! We know who won, and who did not. All of the participating games are now simultaneously on sale for the next 48 hours!
Primordia is missing from the Wadjet Eye pack, in my opinion it's their best game. I would have replaced Resonance with Primordia, maybe then it would have gotten my vote. As it stands, I had to vote for the Gabriel Knight pack. I do respect Wadjet Eye a lot, love their developed -- but especially their published -- games, but there's no way their pack missing Primordia is stealing my vote from a point & click adventure complete trilogy masterpiece (flawed, for sure, but a masterpiece nonetheless).

Matruchus: Don't know any of these games. Will wait till tomorrow for the next batch if it comes since nobody knows how long the battle of the games is supposed to last.
Gabriel Knight 1 is a masterpiece.
Kicking myself for not buying Divine Divinity back in 2012. Think it'll at least hit 90% off at some point?
Bleh! Gothic series should have won...

This is true.

I second that!
Very tough choice but voted the Gabriel Knight series, as they are my favorite adventure games and I think everybody should play them. ;)

But the Wadjet Eye games are amazing - maybe the best adventure studio in the present day..
TO GOG:
I have Gothic II Gold, Gothic III and Gothic III Forsaken Gods. The only Gothic game I haven't is the first one. And it is the only one which NEVER happens to be discounted! I thought this time Gothic 1 would be discounted, along with its "brothers", but it didn't.

GOG, when will you discount Gothic 1 again ? Are you even planning to do so ?
Own them all. Voted for Wadjet Eye. Suck it, Gabriel! =P
Bought 2 games from each side today, I already have the first Divinity game and I'm not interested in the last Gothic game.
I voted Gabriel Knight for tomorrow. I have played the last two but never the first one. I own all the wadjet side.

If GK win then I'm not sure if I'll only buy the first one or all three. I don't plan to replay the last two even though I loved them and had to lower the graphic settings back then to play GK3.

deathmyrk: Divinity II was ALL RIGHT.... The core game's difficulty is grossly unbalanced and the game is pretty short. 3 small maps that make you think it is an "open world". Some of the missions are interesting though. The game, however, feels like a cross between an MMORPG, Fable, and maybe a little bit like Gothic. Dragon Knight Saga makes for a decent expansion. In all, Divinity II is OK, but pales in comparison to the 1st game. Seriously, I don't know what they wanted to do with the game. In fact, I wrote a long review about Divinity II for XBOX 360 a year ago:

http://www.epinions.com/review/divinity-ii-dragon-knight-saga-for-xbox-360/content_615621693060?nli=1&sb=1
I hope this review is helpful enough... It's kind of long.
Thanks, that's very useful, I'll check your full review. +1
A pity though for the sequel :(
A tough one... but in the end Gabriel Knight takes my vote. ^_^
I own and have played all the Gabriel Knight games. Enjoyed every one of them.
I'm buying the Gothics.

ETA: I also own the other set. The wadjets were good, but I liked the GK better.

Having every single game from tomorrow's battle, I'm now absolutely certain that GOG does not want me to participate in this promo :(

But a good day for adventure fans :D

You'd have to ask Piranha Bytes about a discount on Gothic 1, it's up to them as publishers of it here.
Gothic I was on discount in the Winter Sale, I bought it for €4,99 on 28 december 2013. So it ain't true it's never discounted.

I just bought all games from yesterday's votings: the Gothic 3+Expansion that I wanted to complete my Gothic series with, the Divinity II game that won and, as they were so very cheap, the Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity games I already own on Gamersgate, but come with nice bonus material on GOG (not only the manuals, but a strategy guide + 2 short novels).
