You can open the character window ('B' if I recall, I reassigned my keyboard layout) and type 'marvin' without the quotes. That does the same thing.

Should cover it.

Thanks a lot!
Just out of curiosity, why? I suck at games and Gothic is one of the few I didn't need cheats for, unless you are playing around with Easter eggs and mods of course ie. flying cars in AOE.

Question right back at you, Why not?

Screwing around is what it's basically for. However, I did have to use Marvin mode legitimately for a handful of occasions.

1) G1 - Got stuck in an area, should have been able to jump out but wasn't, teleported myself through the wall.
2) G1 - Killed an essential NPC before I knew any better. Revived him.
3) G2 - I must have leveled poorly and couldn't kill the dragons, so I kill-commanded them to death.

Yeah, I did that. Ouch. Good call then.

Two words: TelePort (or one word, depending on what you ask).

I played through Gothic 2 the other week, but I'm in the middle of crunch time and have no patience for endlessly crawling around if I've already explored an area.

It shortens the game in a very good way. The environment is nice and all, but it gets infuriating when it takes me forever to get anywhere.

What I don't seem to understand is why so many people get on their moral high horse about cheating in games?
