I've got this copy of Two Worlds 2 that I can't play (M rated), and I'd like to pass it off to somebody else. The problem lies in that: A) I can't think of a good contest idea and B) the two major contest ideas that come to mind (writing and drawing) make me worry that I wouldn't be able to judge them well enough to give the game to the right person.

Any ideas for contests or something? If I can't think of a contest that I can handle, I might try to hawk it in exchange for some GOGs or something, but I'd really like to give it away to boost my self-esteem.

EDIT: This thread may or may not be a contest in and of itself, I haven't decided yet :P

Could always hold a writing or drawing competition and then choose a shortlist of what you think is the best and have everyone vote on their favourite out of those.
You can make a draw! ;)

I always wanted to try Two Worlds 2, because it's game made by Poles :)

The problem with the draw is that, since the game is worth $50, I feel like people should have to work a little bit to win it. I don't feel comfortable giving it away to some random person.
Soooooo, a contest to figure out a contest you can you use to give away a game?
Sounds like a good idea to me!

(And you can use the contest idea that wins as the contest if you ever give away another game)

M Rated games contain the Devil.

haha yah >:D
It's your contest, your judgement is final. State the competition and then rule it with an iron fist.
popular-picture-or-photo-editing-program competitions are always fun.

Well a suggestion to you would be to run at 7 day contest where people have to make a post about why they should receive the game you can modify this to whatever you like example:

since your trying to get rid of an RPG you have 3 classes Rangers, Wizards, Fighters
Those that are Wizards should have to explain from a wizarding perspective why they should get the game, and fighters, and rangers. you can also put a limit say only 3 paragraphs and it has to be funny/fun read cause hell might as well there getting a 50$ game.

worst comes to worst just return it to the game store unless you already opened it in which case eh your SOL.

Sure. According to the various organizations having made comparable claims in the past 1700 years, many things appear to contain the devil.

- any description of this world denying that it's flat
- or denying that is the Sun that orbits Earth
- any social belief that considers that religious leaders are not the supreme bit of the society
- books, many books
- ....
Give me your MSN id so we can get to know each other. Then you can give it to me because we're friends and I'm not a random stranger anymore.

Don't worry. I make friends easy. You just have to say "Hi".
