While I only looked briefly over the comments, they are very encouraging for GOG! ( A lot more than my response...)

Solution: GOG becomes Gog. Acronym becomes a word and I don't need to learn a new pronunciation.

DRM-free? good
new games? I do not think I have PC to run them.
new price point? I rarely have spare cash to reach 9.99, so higher price will be mainly no for me

How soon do we get these GNGs?

Hopefully they will give us than finally our own general forum for old games. My elitist self doesn't socialite with new game lovers ... ;-P

Going into competition with Steam and now Origin will not be easy, that's for sure.

Steam has a very dedicated customer base (for good reason) and Origin is trying to nick it with exclusives. Considering this I would say the one big advantage GOG would have when selling new titles would be the flat, US Dollar pricing. If they can keep this I definitely see myself switching from Steam to GOG for new releases.

I can do nothing but support this. Completely. :)

Same here. I would LOVE to see new games available on GOG, DRM-free, and with lots of extras, along with old games.

And a DRM-free revolution wouldn't be a revolution without new games making part of it. ;-)

I was wondering how to settle myself. :P The fact that the OLD features so prominately makes me wish they'd either emphasize the DRM-free more or just come up with a subsection. New Awesome Games, Good Awesome Games, DRM-free Awesome New and Old Games.

GGOAN. GANG. GONAD. Yeah, I thinking I'll have to force myself to let go of the OLD. I did partially join to reminisce, though, and look at that OLD wishlist. :) I hope there's a full crew that continues to work on OLD, and they can afford to hire new workers for NEW titles, or something like that.

Just take out the "O" - Good Games - or something.

Partially my fear, too; they may have to go for the DRM-free niche/position instead. (I'm taking an advertising class this semester so I'm kinda pretentious right now about this sort of thing. :P)

Err so RPS and that have the (or one of sorts) announcement but GOG is yet to give us a blue topic that is official on thier own site?

This has the potential to become either really awesome or really awful. I hope they know what they're doing.
