Don't Nintendo offer demos for Wiiware games in the US?

Lost Winds - is very good if a little short, I've not tried the sequel yet but it's supposed to be more of the same.
Final Fantasy: My Life as a King - A good simple sim type game very enjoyable still spend a few days in game every now and then.
I've not got much many recent wiiware games but I'd give those two oldies a try if you haven't already.
World of Goo (if you don't already have it) is great.
Cave Story will be released sometime in the next two weeks. Get that!
Haven't tried the Wii version of World of Goo, but the PC version is awesome. I read that the WiiWare version is ranked higher on Metascore, though.

Note that the PC version of Cave Story is free. The WiiWare version has enhanced graphics but not everyone will consider that worth paying for.
The WiiWare version of World of Goo rated higher because standards are much higher on the PC. This is also why games on both 360/PS3 and PC get lower scores on the PC even if it's an excellent port--PC gamers simply expect more.

There is alot more additions to the Wiiware release.

- New character designs by creator, Daisuke Amaya
- Completely redrawn background and interface, exclusive to Wii
- Remastered music as well as the original soundtrack
- Mix-and-match new/old artwork and music!
- Five new play modes (including Sanctuary Time Attack and Boss Rush)
- Three-save files, as demanded by fans
- Over 20 epic boss battles through Mimiga Island
- 15 levels to explore in the vast world
- 10 unique weapons to find and upgrade
- Classic Controller compatibility
- Three unique endings
- A few surprises fans"
They are also working on la-mulana.
The phoenix wright games are also good.

Ah, I wasn't aware of this. Thanks.
Hopefully they will bring this version back to the PC as a non-free title.
I'd have my eyes on the new Wii-Release of Prince of Persia. It should be it's own spin off to the Forgotten Sands storyline. And personally this does look better than the real game.

I've played Cave Story to death on the PC. I'm still going to buy the Wii version to show my support for Pixel. Also, I'm itchin' for another round through Hell... Only two more weeks to go before the abstinence will go away...

As cynical as your statement is, it's nevertheless quite true. Expectations are different when you have a box of dedicated hardware and an ergonomic controller in your hands... I wouldn't change it. :)

Megaman 9 is an impressive return to 8-bit sensibilities for Capcom. The recently released Megaman 10, a bit less so. If you have any fond memories of the series, the former is definitely worth checking out.
Bit.Trip Beat is a neat, rhythm-gamey spin on Pong (it's actually a lot better than that sounds).

Speaking of which, I still have 800 Wii Points left over from my Sin & Punishment purchase. (1200-point game, but you can only buy points in increments of 1000, which is US$10. Ridiculous!)
If it's 800 or less, I'm getting it. If it's more, I doubt it, unless there's something else to justify buying US$10 worth of points.

Secret of Mana! Doesn't have to be WiiWare, does it?

I'd rather get an actual SNES cartridge of that.
Awesome game, nevertheless. (If only I had a multi-tap for the full co-op experience...)
