adambiser: Thanks!

However, I didn't have anything with my knee or leg. I don't remember who that was unfortunately.
Doh sorry. I swore there was someone recently having surgery and I when you said you were back, my first thought was why the heck is he doing a giveaway so soon after surgery.

- So I just looked back a few pages...didn't see the actual thread but maybe it was aklibher who was having the surgery and the "a" at the beginning of both your names got me all confused. Sorry, but I'm still glad you are back :). Have to wait for the other one to come back soon too!

adambiser: Visited in-laws in Germany and Romania with a short side trip into France to see something new.

Thanks.
And how did you like it there/here? :)

In for the Shadowgrounds games, thanks!

It was good. A bit too long of a stay for me, though. Knowing only a little bit of German and Romanian doesn't make for striking conversations, so my time was spent reading, going on walks with them around town, and eating. France, being a place I'd not visited before had the advantage of giving new sites to see.

I wish I could have worked on some of my personal projects while I was gone, but it didn't work out that way.
Welcome back, adambiser!

In for: Shadowgrounds / Shadowgrounds Survivor

So you've been to both Germany and Romania before? Which regions, if I may ask? And what do you generally think about the countries? (this always interests me :)).
Haven't seen much of France myself, plan to rectify that!

Yes, I've been to Germany twice before and Romania five times before. I've only been to the Rhein-Ruhr region in Germany and the Transilvanian region in Romania.

I think Germany is a lot like here actually. Of course there are many differences, but still a lot of similarities.

Romania has a lot of potential. It has some great stuff, nice sights, good food, etc., but something seems to hold it down. I don't know whether it's the government there or citizen morale or what.

France was nice. We went to Paris to see some sights, which was cool, and the metro was a surprisingly enjoyable experience. lol All drinks are very expensive there though.
Thanks. I'm for Post Mortem.
